Who would believe math could be beautiful?

The Algebra I classes made this bulletin board by graphing equations! Each student graphed 12 different lines and then transferred the resulting pattern onto an acetate sheet and decorated it. Great work!

This assignment was graded using MYP Math Criterions B: Investigating Patterns and D: Applying Mathematics in Real-Life Contexts

After a week of literate celebration, students dressed up as their favorite characters from their favorite books.

As part of Literacy week, students went bananas for books.  They found hidden tickets on campus and redeemed them for a banana and a book at the Media Center.

As part of Literacy Week, the top 50 AR point earners at Ammons were rewarded with doughnuts and games during our extended homeroom.

Our school yearbook, Eagles' Nest, received two awards, one from The American Scholstic Press Association & one from The Columbia Scholastic Press Association!
