Reading
at Ammons
- Students must read for 30 minutes
each night.
- Students must have
an independent reading book with them EACH day.
- Accelerated Reader
quiz can be taken ONLY in the ATL class during the assigned period
with your ATL teacher only.
- Student passwords are
their birthdates in the yymmdd format.
- Students may only take
ONE AR quiz per day. Quizzes are NEVER taken with a substitute.
- Students must have the book they are testing on with them in
class on the day they test.
- Students must have
the AR book
- The AR grade will be
50% of the ATL class grade. Students will be graded based upon
percent toward goal only.
- Students who are caught cheating on an Accelerated
Reader quiz will be referred to the administration.
- Students may take quizzes
on a book below their ZPD range ONLY if the book was assigned
in one of
their content
area classes.
- AR Quizzes for summer
reading can be taken until September 10th and 11th.
