IntensiveReading/Math
Special classes in intensive reading and math instruction are provided to students who score below the satisfactory level (3) on the Florida Comprehensive Assessment Test (FCAT).

Ammons implements the International Baccalaureate (IB) Middle Years Program. Five theme-based Areas of Interaction are infused throughout the curriculum: Approaches to Learning, Environment, Community Service, Homo Faber (Man the Maker), and Health and Social Education. All students develop a Portfolio that follows them through their middle school experience.
