Ammons is IBMYP!

Ammons Middle is now an officially authorized International Baccalaureate (IB) Middle Years Program (MYP). The March 6th letter from the International Baccalaureate Organization makes Ammons the first school-wide magnet program in Miami-Dade County to receive this prestigious recognition. Ammons is proud to offer the three-year MYP to all students in grades 6, 7 and 8.

Reminder: School starts promptly at 9:00 A.M. on August 20th.

Dress Code: No capri pants, shorts, pajamas, or open toed shoes are allowed. Ammons shirts are highly recommended for and 8th grade and required for 6th and 7th grade students.

All students should be writing down their homework in their agendas each day. A minimum of thirty minutes of independent reading should be taking place each night also.
